Authorities in Onslow County have arrested 47-year-old Antonio Whitney following a search that revealed nearly 13 pounds of illegal drugs, including methamphetamine, cocaine, and fentanyl, along with a stolen firearm. This operation, conducted by the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit in collaboration with several other law enforcement agencies, uncovered an extensive drug trafficking operation at Whitney’s residence on Peach Lane.
During the raid on February 21, investigators seized more than $12,500 in cash, nine guns—one of which was identified as stolen—and two vehicles allegedly connected to the illegal drug trade. Whitney has been charged with multiple felonies, including trafficking in various controlled substances and possession of a stolen firearm, and is currently held on a $1.3 million bond awaiting a court appearance scheduled for March 17.
