A shooting in Fresno claimed the life of 33-year-old Kuvar Kumar on the evening of July 21, 2025. Police arrived on State Street to find Kumar suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, and despite emergency medical services’ efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities believe Kumar was arriving home when the shooting occurred, and they are actively seeking information from the public to aid in their investigation. Residents with any details are encouraged to contact the Fresno Police Department or remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers.
