Man Shot Dead in McKeesport, Investigation Underway

Allegheny County Police are actively investigating a shooting that resulted in the death of a 37-year-old man in McKeesport late Saturday night. Officers responded to reports of a shooting at a home on the 1700 block of Abraham Street around 10 p.m., where the victim, identified as Kurtis Shaw, was found with gunshot wounds and later succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact the County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS, emphasizing that tips may be submitted anonymously. This tragic event underscores ongoing concerns about gun violence in the region, prompting heightened community awareness and cooperation with law enforcement.
