The Houston Police Department is actively searching for a man linked to a string of armed robberies on the city’s southeast side, beginning with an incident at a Sunnyside convenience store on December 29, 2024. In that robbery, the suspect brandished a handgun, demanded cash, and even stole a six-pack of beer before fleeing the scene.
Authorities believe the same individual was involved in subsequent robberies, including two on January 14. The total cash taken in these crimes remains unclear, but Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of $5,000 for information leading to the suspect’s arrest. Residents are encouraged to report any tips by calling 713-222-TIPS.
