Marco Canales, a 44-year-old resident of Adelanto and a convicted felon, is arrested after allegedly robbing a business in Hesperia and leading police on a dangerous chase. The incident ignited when Canales reportedly brandished a firearm at a store on Bear Valley Road, triggering a swift response from law enforcement who pursued him as he fled in a black Chrysler.
The pursuit culminated in a foot chase in Victorville, where deputies apprehended Canales and seized not only the firearm used in the robbery but also thousands of dollars in stolen merchandise. He faces multiple felony charges, including robbery and assault with a deadly weapon, and is currently held at the High Desert Detention Center—investigators are now seeking additional information from the public regarding the case.
