Maryland Man on the Run After Armed Robbery Conviction

Shawne Proctor, a 33-year-old man from Maryland, is currently wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service for violating the terms of his supervised release following a conviction related to an armed robbery scheme. In January 2019, Proctor was found guilty of conspiracy, armed robbery, and possession of a firearm after he and a co-defendant robbed a former friend at gunpoint, using a pretext of purchasing marijuana to orchestrate the crime.

Proctor, who has a history of armed robbery offenses, began his supervised release in November 2022 but is now on the run with a warrant out for his arrest since November 20, 2024. Law enforcement describes him as approximately 6’3” and weighing around 200 lbs. With Proctor’s previous offense record, authorities urge anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to contact the U.S. Marshals.
