The Memphis Safe Task Force reports significant crime reductions in October, with 1,862 arrests, including 10 for homicide and 203 for narcotics offenses. Among the most notable statistics, 313 firearms were seized, marking a critical intervention in community safety.
In addition to tackling firearm-related crimes, the Task Force successfully located 88 missing children and apprehended 132 known gang members. This multifaceted approach addresses various crime issues and showcases law enforcement’s active efforts in making Memphis safer.
