Memphis police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at Yum’s Restaurant on South Highland Street, where two masked suspects invaded the establishment late on Saturday night. Using a black handgun and a sawed-off shotgun, the suspects demanded cash from the restaurant staff, forcing an employee to assist in emptying the register before fleeing the scene.
The perpetrators are described as a medium-complexion Black male, approximately 6 feet tall, and a slim dark-complexion Black male, around 5 feet 10 inches. Authorities urge anyone with information to reach out to Crime Stoppers at 901-528-CASH to help bring these criminals to justice and restore a sense of safety in the community.
