Memphis police are actively searching for three suspects involved in an armed robbery that occurred at the Ivey Chase Apartments on Sparrow Wood Lane early on August 27. The suspects, who confronted a victim at gunpoint, made off with his cell phone and wallet before fleeing in a stolen 2022 Hyundai Elantra, which has since been recovered by authorities.
The first suspect is described as a thin male approximately 5’7″ to 5’9″, dressed entirely in black with a matching mask. His accomplice wore red gloves and white sneakers along with another mask, while a third individual stayed behind in the vehicle. Police encourage anyone with information regarding these individuals to contact Crime Stoppers at 901-528-CASH (2274) as they work to bring the suspects to justice.
