Meriden Man Charged in November Carjacking and Robbery

Police in Meriden have charged 28-year-old Keondre Ward in connection with a carjacking and an armed robbery of a local Domino’s Pizza that occurred in November 2024. Ward, already incarcerated for unrelated robbery charges, was served with two arrest warrants on Friday, facing serious counts including first-degree robbery and larceny of a motor vehicle.

Detectives utilized various investigative techniques to link both crimes to Ward, who is currently being held on a $300,000 bond. His upcoming court appearance is scheduled for June 18, raising questions about the extent of his involvement in the incidents and the impact on local public safety.
