Mexican Man Admits Guilt in Major Drug and Firearms Case

Roberto Rosales Gonzales, a 24-year-old Mexican national residing in Kansas City, Missouri, pled guilty to serious charges of drug and firearm possession that could result in a life sentence. In a federal court hearing, he admitted to possessing over 500 grams of methamphetamine and an arsenal that included 59 firearms, various ammunition, a firearm silencer, and even a hand grenade.

The case emerged from a police search warrant executed at Gonzales’ home, revealing not only a large quantity of meth but also over 100 grams of suspected fentanyl pills. With a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years without the possibility of parole, the details of Gonzales’s arrest underscore the growing concern over drug trafficking and illegal firearms in the region.
