Kayan Henrique De Almeida Fernandes, a 32-year-old tour guide, confesses to a road rage encounter in Coral Terrace where he threatened a woman and her husband while armed with a gun and a knife. Following a verbal dispute over driving maneuvers, he allegedly yelled threats and fled the scene, but was quickly apprehended by Miami-Dade Sheriff’s deputies who found a pocketknife on him and a firearm in his vehicle.
No injuries were reported in the November 6 incident, which was captured on surveillance footage. De Almeida Fernandes has been charged with multiple counts of aggravated assault and is ordered to stay away from his victims, with a bond set at $20,000 by a Miami-Dade Circuit Judge.
