A 62-year-old man from Miami-Dade has been arrested for an armed robbery case dating back to December 2023, where he allegedly threatened a victim with a firearm. Victor Colon reportedly stormed into the victim’s room while he was playing video games, brandishing a gun and demanding his cellphone. The victim, held at gunpoint, managed to escape while photographing Colon’s vehicle, leading to the suspect’s identification by law enforcement.
According to arrest reports, Colon is accused of making chilling threats during the encounter, including the statement, “I should bury you with the rest of them,” as he forced the victim to sit down and assaulted him. After fleeing the scene, the victim reported the incident to deputies at the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, ultimately leading to Colon’s capture. He is currently being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center as authorities press forward with the case.
