The Timor-Leste government officially hands over three types of military weapons to the Falintil-Defence Forces (F-FDTL) as part of efforts to modernize the military. Minister of Defence, Rear Admiral Donaciano Costa Gomes, highlights that this delivery includes M249 light machine guns, M60E6 machine guns, and Glock pistols, aimed at bolstering the institution’s operational capabilities.
