A Laurel mother continues her fight against gun violence by organizing neighborhood walks in memory of her son, Kylee Robinson, who was tragically killed on October 29, 2023. Danielle Stevens initiated the walks not only to honor Kylee’s legacy but also to deter further violence in their community, underscoring the importance of collective remembrance and action. “The reason I started the walk last year was to honor and keep the memory of my son’s name alive,” she explains.
The next walk is scheduled for Sunday, October 26th, at Roger C. Fisher Park, starting at 11:30 a.m. Stevens emphasizes that these events help raise awareness for those affected by gun violence and promote community unity amidst ongoing concerns about safety. Despite the tragedy, no arrests have been made in Kylee’s case, and a reward is being offered for information to help solve the crime. Residents who may have information are encouraged to contact Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-847-3333.
