The Dauphin County Coroner has identified 31-year-old Violette Pierre as the victim of a domestic-related stabbing in Harrisburg. Pierre, a citizen of Haiti, was attacked in her home on South 17th Street, and the incident reportedly arose from a relationship dispute.
Witnesses reported that her 13-year-old son was seen running down the street crying, declaring, “my mother was just murdered – my stepdad killed my mother.” Following the attack, the alleged assailant inflicted self-harm and is currently receiving treatment for severe injuries at a local hospital.
