The event unfolded around 2:07 PM, prompting deputies to respond after protestors reported that a vehicle passed by with an individual aiming a firearm at them.
Pointing a gun at someone in a threatening manner can constitute assault with a deadly weapon, a serious felony, whether the gun is loaded or not. Authorities confirm that all individuals involved have been identified, and there is currently no ongoing threat to the public.
