Newly released body camera footage shows a tense encounter that led to the fatal shooting of 69-year-old David M. Levine outside a State Police barracks in Malta, New York. On April 9, Levine approached the barracks armed with a long gun, firing several rounds before police intervention initiated a standoff.
The video captures a heated exchange where troopers plea with Levine to drop his weapon as he raises it toward them, ultimately leading to his death by gunfire.
