Three 18-year-olds in Newport, Oregon face serious charges following an armed robbery that took place in a parking lot on Friday night. According to police, the victim was approached by a Honda CRV carrying four masked individuals, one of whom brandished a firearm and forced the man to comply with their demands for cash, resulting in the theft of a significant amount of money.
Law enforcement located the vehicle about 1.5 hours later in Corvallis, leading to the apprehension of three suspects, during which officers recovered evidence of the crime, including weapons and the victim’s stolen cash. While these young men are now facing multiple charges, the fourth suspect remains unidentified, prompting police to seek further information from the public to aid in the investigation.
