School officials in the North Penn School District are responding to parental concerns regarding safety after a 16-year-old student was found with a loaded 9mm handgun on high school grounds. The school is also planning a Safe Schools meeting for October 27 to further discuss these issues and improve communication about such incidents moving forward.
