Omaha Police Probe Multiple Violent Incidents

Omaha police are investigating a series of violent incidents over the holiday weekend, including two shootings and two stabbings. On Sunday morning, officers found a 27-year-old man with stab wounds near 23rd and Vinton Street, while over the previous day, two men were hospitalized due to separate shooting incidents, one near 47th Street and another at 132nd Street.

The first shooting involved a 19-year-old man who said he felt pain in his leg after hearing gunfire, while the second victim, a 20-year-old man, reported a shooting that occurred near 144th Street. All victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries, and police have not yet made any arrests or announced suspects in these cases. The Omaha police urge anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers for the potential of a cash reward.
