A suspect is in custody after an armed robbery in Overland Park prompted a police pursuit that extended into Missouri. The incident began on Tuesday evening when officers responded to a robbery at a business located in the 7400 block of Shawnee Mission Parkway, swiftly locating the suspect and initiating a chase.
Police pursued the vehicle until it came to a stop in Lee’s Summit, where the suspect was apprehended without further incident. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the robbery, and more updates are expected as the situation develops.
