Police connect a 21-year-old Phoenix man, Adalberto Pablo Cordova Torres, to two separate fatal shootings through cell phone data, surveillance footage, and ballistics evidence. Charged with two counts of first-degree murder, Torres is linked to the deaths of Marcus Adams and Andreas Samual Olguin, both of whom were shot multiple times within weeks of one another, with autopsies revealing nine and eleven gunshot wounds, respectively.
Notably, officers recovered a 9mm handgun believed to be used in the shootings from Torres’ possession after his arrest on December 4. Surveillance videos show a suspect with attire and an e-bike matching Torres’ characteristics, while phone records place his device near all three shooting locations. As investigators look into the case, a preliminary court hearing is set for December 15, with a bond of $3 million imposed on Torres, who has admitted to owning the handgun and the phone used during the incidents.
