Edwards, who was wearing a ski mask and gloves, attempted to flee when confronted by police but was apprehended nearby. He was found carrying two handguns, one of which was reported stolen just the day before, leading to multiple charges, including felon in possession of a firearm and possession of a stolen firearm.
