Authorities in St. Petersburg, Florida, have arrested a 26-year-old man, Cornelius Edwards, after he was observed behaving suspiciously at 2 a.m. on November 9. Edwards, who was wearing a ski mask and gloves, attempted to flee when confronted by police but was apprehended nearby. He was found carrying two handguns, one of which was reported stolen just the day before, leading to multiple charges, including felon in possession of a firearm and possession of a stolen firearm.
Edwards is reportedly connected to at least six recent cases currently under investigation by the police. This troubling pattern of behavior has prompted authorities to remind the community of the importance of securing vehicles and firearms.
