A man is dead following a shooting incident at a home under renovation in South Philadelphia, where an elderly homeowner claims he acted in self-defense. Police arrived at the scene on the 1600 block of South 18th Street and discovered a man in his 30s deceased in an upstairs hallway, with evidence including a shell casing and a bullet hole in a bedroom door.
