Prosecutors establish that Needling is a key player in the organization, accused of facilitating illegal gun transfers and possessing machine gun conversion devices, known as “switches,” which allow handguns to fire at rapid rates.
This case is part of a broader crackdown on illegal firearms in Pennsylvania, where authorities have linked Needling and nine others to the distribution of at least 31 illegal firearms across multiple counties. After the plea, Judge Risa Vetri Ferman will determine his sentencing, which could range from 18½ to 37 years in prison, pending a background investigation.
