A 34-year-old Randolph man is hospitalized with serious injuries after being violently assaulted and robbed by two men while walking to his car in Stoughton. The incident, which occurred on July 27, involved the victim being attacked at gunpoint, resulting in severe injuries that required surgery.
Stoughton detectives arrested a primary suspect, a 33-year-old man from Randolph, following a month-long investigation and an unrelated traffic stop. The arrested suspect pled not guilty to several charges, including armed robbery, and is being held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing scheduled for September 8.
