The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a troubling armed robbery that occurred at the Casserly Market on Casserly Road, just northeast of Watsonville, on Wednesday evening. The incident, which took place shortly after 7:30 p.m., involved three armed suspects who reportedly made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, although no injuries were reported.
Authorities describe the suspects as armed and dangerous, last seen fleeing the scene in a white Cadillac SUV on Mt. Madonna Road. The sheriff’s office is urging anyone with information regarding the robbery to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.
