Seattle police have arrested a 32-year-old man suspected of robbery, assault, and illegal firearms possession, following a SWAT operation in South Seattle. The arrest stems from a shooting incident on May 13 when the suspect allegedly confronted a motorcyclist at gunpoint, demanding his bike. The motorcyclist was able to escape and identify the suspect, who had previous encounters with law enforcement.
Authorities executed a search warrant on July 24, leading to the suspect’s capture, where he attempted to discard a firearm during the arrest. The weapon, believed to be connected to the May shooting and reported stolen, was recovered along with three additional firearms found inside his RV. This operation highlights the continued efforts of Seattle police in tackling violent crime and illegal weapon possession. The suspect now awaits court proceedings on multiple serious charges.
