A second man, Tykwan L. Willis, has been charged in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in a Central West End apartment on February 11. According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police, Willis, 24, and two accomplices confronted a victim as he entered his apartment, brandishing a handgun and compelling him to enter as they stole his belongings, including an Xbox and cash.
Investigators utilized surveillance footage from the area, capturing Willis and his cohorts without their ski masks after the crime, which led to their identification. Willis is currently held at St. Louis County Jail on several charges, including first-degree robbery and kidnapping, and has a history of prior robbery convictions, raising concerns about his repeat offenses.
