A shooting incident at a party in Nyeland Acres on November 25 has resulted in multiple charges, including accessory after the fact for one adult and five juveniles. Following reports of gunfire, deputies located Martin Maidaa and his associates, recovering a high-power rifle from their vehicle during a traffic stop in Camarillo.
Fortunately, there were no injuries reported in the shooting, but the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate, having executed several search warrants to gather more evidence. Authorities are actively seeking public assistance for any information related to the incident, underscored by a $1,000 reward from Ventura County Crime Stoppers for tips that lead to an arrest.
