Shooting Near Downtown Fort Worth Leaves One Dead

A shooting in Fort Worth on Thursday evening leads to the death of one man after an apparent argument escalates. Police respond to a 911 call at approximately 5:40 p.m. in the area of East Lancaster and Bomar avenues, where they find the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. He is transported to a hospital, where he is pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

Authorities indicate that the shooter fled the scene before officers arrived, and homicide detectives are actively investigating the incident. The identity of the deceased will be released by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with this case, raising concerns in the community over safety and unresolved violence.
