The lawsuit references 32 other federal cases involving similar claims, including instances where police officers’ duty weapons discharged unexpectedly. Notably, the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission has banned the P320 from training facilities following a near-miss incident at a gun range. Schreiber is seeking unspecified damages under the Washington Consumer Protection Act, raising serious questions about the design and safety of the P320 model.
