Six individuals face serious drug-related charges following a coordinated multi-agency operation targeting illegal narcotics sales near a Bridgeport housing complex. The operation, carried out by the Bridgeport Police Task Force with support from the FBI and several local police departments, resulted in the execution of eight search warrants at multiple locations, uncovering two modified Glock handguns capable of automatic fire alongside significant quantities of crack cocaine and $5,000 in cash.
Among the arrested were five adults, all facing narcotics sale charges, with bonds ranging from $275,000 to $350,000. Notably, Kimani Morris, one of the suspects, had previously been arrested for firearm-related offenses and was out on bond at the time of this operation. Additionally, a juvenile was detained for possession-related charges, indicating the ongoing scope of the investigation and the likelihood of further arrests to come.
