A 36-year-old San Luis Obispo resident, James Mattison, is arrested on suspicion of possessing a ghost gun and suspected meth after a police search revealed incriminating evidence. Officers had previously issued a gun violence restraining order against him following a concerning incident where he approached neighbors with a shotgun.
During the warrant search of Mattison’s home, police discovered not only suspected methamphetamine but also parts of firearms believed to have been 3D printed. Additionally, a further search at his parents’ residence uncovered a ghost gun along with ammunition and two 3D printers. Mattison now faces four felony charges and two misdemeanors related to these findings.
