A Staten Island man, Antoine Thurmond, 20, has pleaded guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon after a police stop for window tint violation led to the discovery of a loaded handgun in his vehicle. The incident occurred on March 23 and resulted in the arrest of Thurmond and four others, all from Mariners Harbor, with the driver now facing a two-year prison sentence set to be imposed on January 12.
