Law enforcement officials tracked Arnold through the night, ultimately locating him after he sought help at a nearby residence, where a tense standoff ensued after he fired a shot at officers.
During the arrest, officers discovered that Arnold had discarded his weapon, which was later retrieved hidden in a tree along with ammunition. Authorities have charged Arnold with multiple felony offenses, including seven counts of first-degree assault against law enforcement, and he remains incarcerated without bond as the investigation continues into the armed robbery.
