Bibb County authorities are actively searching for a suspect who executed an armed robbery at the 567 Center for Renewal in downtown Macon on Tuesday afternoon. The incident, reported around 2:19 p.m., involved a male perpetrator who brandished a firearm and forced a victim to the back of the store, taking their cell phone and money before fleeing the scene.
The Sheriff’s Office describes the suspect as wearing a distinctive white graphic T-shirt, dark shorts, and a head covering. Although no injuries were reported during the incident, local deputies are urging anyone with information on the suspect’s identity or whereabouts to reach out via the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office or Macon Regional Crime Stoppers.
