The Pennsylvania Game Commission is actively seeking information regarding suspects involved in the illegal shooting of an 8-point white-tailed deer found in the front yard of a home in Cranberry, Venango County. The incident occurred early Saturday, October 25, when three young men, described as possibly in their 20s and dressed in black, shot the deer from the roadway within designated safety zones near occupied homes.
Authorities believe the suspects were driving a light-colored small SUV, potentially a silver Ford Escape, with a license plate that may start with HPV-79. The Game Commission is urging anyone with information to reach out through their toll-free hotline, as they aim to curb illegal hunting practices in the area.
