Boone County Sheriff’s deputies, assisted by SWAT, recently arrested 19-year-old Aden Velasquez in Union, Kentucky, on charges of child endangerment and drug trafficking. During a search at his home, authorities discovered an alarming scene: two loaded handguns were left on a desk within reach of his infant child, and multiple THC products were scattered across the floor.
In total, deputies recovered seven firearms along with various THC items, including 33 cartridges and 150 grams of marijuana. This troubling situation raises concerns about household safety and access to firearms and drugs in families with young children. Officers remained on the scene for several hours to ensure the safety of the child and investigate the circumstances further.
