A 17-year-old boy is in stable condition after being shot three times in the back by a masked gunman at the 6 West Barbershop in downtown Middletown. The incident occurred around 5:16 p.m. on Wednesday, and police believe the shooting was targeted, specifically aimed at the victim, who had recently started working at the barbershop.
Witnesses report that the assailant, dressed in black and wearing a camouflaged balaclava, entered and fired multiple rounds before fleeing on a black electric scooter. Despite intensive searches by police in the vicinity, no suspects have been apprehended.
