A 17-year-old boy is recovering in good condition after being shot in the legs during an attempted robbery on Monday evening in Chicago’s West Ridge neighborhood. The incident occurred around 6 p.m. when the victim, who was in an alley on West Glenlake Avenue, was approached by two suspects demanding his belongings. One suspect brandished a firearm and opened fire, striking the teen.
No arrests have been made as police continue to investigate the case. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the suspects or the shooting to come forward and help bring justice to the victim.
