A 19-year-old man, Jeremy Jerome Franklin Jr., faces charges of first-degree robbery after being arrested in connection with the armed robbery of a 16-year-old in Montgomery. The incident occurred in late November when the victim was approached by three suspects who demanded his jewelry and cash at gunpoint. Thankfully, the teenager was not injured during the ordeal.
According to court documents, Franklin was recognized by the victim as someone he had known since middle school. Authorities are still searching for other suspects involved in this brazen daylight robbery, which took place in the 3600 block of Gas Light Curve. The community looks on as the Montgomery Police Department continues its investigation into this alarming crime.
