Teen Shot Dead After Getting Off Bus in Queens

A tragic incident unfolded in Queens Wednesday afternoon when a 16-year-old was shot and killed just after disembarking from a bus. According to police, the shooting occurred shortly after 2 p.m. on Liberty Avenue in Jamaica, near 169th Street, amid an altercation that escalated into gunfire.

The victim was found with a gunshot wound to the chest and was declared dead shortly after arriving at Jamaica Hospital.
