Nearly 300 households have come together to form the Parkmerced Tenants Association, demanding immediate repairs from the receiver managing the complex. Following police action that recently led to the arrest of an alleged pimp in the building, tenants are securing legal support to push for restoration. Meanwhile, despite a pledge of $70 million from lenders to improve conditions, many residents feel their daily struggles with inadequate services remain unresolved as they prepare to present their case in court next month.
