Texarkana Range Launches Ladies’ Night for Gun Safety

The Fox Squad Armory in Texarkana hosts a Ladies’ Night Firearm Safety Workshop on July 12, aimed at educating and empowering women about safe firearm handling. This event caters to women of all experience levels and offers a chance to learn from certified instructors while shooting a variety of firearms, including handguns, rifles, and even a machine gun.

Participants will receive comprehensive training in a controlled environment, with firearms, ammunition, and safety gear provided. The event, starting at 5 p.m., costs $25 and requires a valid ID, closed-toed shoes, and a signed waiver. Owner John Marshall emphasizes the workshop’s goal: to build comfort and knowledge around firearms, helping to dispel the stigma and fear often associated with guns.
