Among the nominations is Chip Brownlee’s investigative series, “The Bruen Era,” which identifies the implications of a Supreme Court decision on gun rights, revealing vital insights into judicial biases and challenges surrounding firearm possession laws for felons.
In addition, Trace staff writer Mensah M. Dean’s series, “Roots and Realities,” addresses the historical roots of gun violence in Black America, highlighting the disproportionate impact in Philadelphia.
