Boardman Police arrest three individuals after a tense standoff stemming from a reported break-in at a vacant home on Market Street. The incident escalated when one suspect threatened officers, stating, “If you come in here, I’ll shoot you all!” prompting a significant police response involving 21 officers and specialized units.
During negotiations, the suspects ultimately surrendered, leading to their arrest on multiple charges, including breaking and entering and intimidation. Notably, two handguns were discovered in the residence, raising concerns over weapons possession and the suspects’ criminal backgrounds. The identity of one suspect, pregnant with health concerns, was later confirmed as Macie Michelle Opel Dutting, who faced active warrants upon her arrest.
