Three individuals face multiple charges following a dramatic armed robbery and kidnapping incident at a Sheetz convenience store in Hickory, North Carolina. The suspects allegedly forced a male victim into his own vehicle at gunpoint early Monday morning before driving away from the scene. The victim was released shortly after, and authorities quickly mobilized to locate the stolen vehicle, leading to a brief police pursuit in Rowan County that resulted in the suspects’ arrests.
Those arrested include Jalen Dontae Burnette, 19, Devin Michael Carr, 20, and Bryan Galvan Ugalde, 22, all facing charges including robbery with a firearm and second-degree kidnapping. They are currently held without bond at the Catawba County Detention Facility as the investigation continues.
