Three Arrested for Armed Robbery on MetroLink Train

Three individuals have been charged in connection with an armed robbery that occurred aboard a MetroLink train in St. Clair County, Illinois, last week. The suspects, identified as 23-year-old Angelo D. Farmer, 26-year-old Demetrius L. Alfred, and 18-year-old Shray S. Allen, face serious charges, including three counts of armed robbery and aggravated battery, following the incident that left a 37-year-old man hospitalized with injuries.

The robbery took place on December 4 while the train was traveling between Washington Park and Fairview Heights. According to authorities, the attack was unprovoked, and the suspects targeted the victim, assaulting him and stealing several personal items. Following thorough witness interviews and a review of security footage, police apprehended the trio shortly after they disembarked in Belleville. All three are currently being held at the St. Clair County Jail.
